Appointments at ESTACA: Arnaud Marfurt appointed President of the Association and of the Executive Board Jean-Michel Durepaire becomes Chief Executive Officer
ESTACA’s Supervisory Board announces the appointment of Arnaud Marfurt as President of the School for a five-year term. He succeeds Ludovic Busson, who has held the presidency since 2016. ESTACA has also strengthened its governance by appointing Jean-Michel Durepaire as Director General.
Former Aeronautics Students Takes Presidency
A member of ESTACA’s Supervisory Board since 2008, and a 1997 graduate, Arnaud Marfurt has always been very involved in the life and governance of the school. After obtaining a master’s degree in Marketing Intelligence from HEC in 1998, Arnaud Marfurt worked for more than twenty years in various divisions of the Airbus Group. In particular, he held responsibilities in the Helicopter and Aircraft divisions and then in the Research Innovation Department before joining the Defense and Space Division in 2018.

Governance strengthened by the appointment of a Chief Executive Officer
In order to strengthen governance and support ESTACA’s ambitions, the Supervisory Board has created the position of Chief Executive Officer reporting to the President. This responsibility has been entrusted to Jean-Michel Durepaire, who is taking on his new duties as of today. A graduate of the Mines d’Alès and INSEAD, Jean-Michel Durepaire has a career spanning more than fifteen years in France and internationally, in the automotive industry, notably at Valeo, in management, project, industrial and operations positions. He joined ESTACA in 2015, as Executive Director.
