Dassault Aviation and ESTACA: Renewed partnership
On Monday December 6th, at ESTACA’s Paris-Saclay campus, Jean-Michel Durepaire, ESTACA Managing Director, and Christian Lucius, Technical Head of Aircraft Engineering and Payload at Dassault Aviation, signed an agreement renewing their partnership for five years.
Dassault and ESTACA, a long-standing partnership
Dassault Aviation which has been involved with ESTACA for many years, has solidified its position as the school’s official partner and key interlocutor for the aeronautics program. Dassault is working with the School for the opening of the Bordeaux site at the start of the 2022 academic year.
Very popular with students, Dassault Aviation is a human sized company with 13,000 employees worldwide, of which 8,000 are in France. Its nine French sites (Argenteuil, Argonay, Biarritz, Istres, Martignas, Mérignac, Poitiers, Saint-Cloud, and Seclin) and its subsidiaries Sogitec (Suresnes), Dassault Falcon Service (Le Bourget, Mérignac) and Dassault Falcon Jet (in the United States), each specialize in a specific field: design, production, supply chain, completion, flight tests and maintenance.
Many forms of support
In addition to its financial support and involvement in ESTACA’s governance bodies, Dassault Aviation contributes to the success of ESTACA’s training courses by providing speakers and resources for the courses. It also supports numerous student projects. This partnership increases the collaboration with Dassault Aviation in terms of trainee integration, apprenticeships, employment and mock interviews. Finally, Dassault Aviation is committed to supporting the development of the school’s training and research projects.
Christian Lucius, a 1987 ESTACA graduate, is a member of the ESTACA Supervisory Board and is a Grand Ambassador within Dassault Aviation, i.e. a representative dedicated to ESTACA
This agreement formalizes the long-term collaboration on complementary issues.
