New Dual Degree in Space Defense & Security with the Air and Space School
ESTACA and the Ecole de l’Air et de l’Espace signed a partnership agreement this summer to give 5th-year students in space studies the opportunity to get a dual diploma as part of EAE’s Mastère Spécialisé® “Defense and Security in Space” (DefSiS) program.
Expertise in Space and Security
For some years now, space has been the focus of a great deal of interest, and the strategic and economic stakes involved have led to numerous developments, in everyday applications, telecommunications and in the military field.
The aim of the DefSiS post-master’s degree is to train civil and military executives with an integrated vision of space system security for civil and defense space operations. This English-language course is offered by French Air and Space Force Academy (EAE), in partnership with the French Space Command (CDE), the National Center for Space Studies (CNES) and the French Aerospace Lab (ONERA). The skills and expertise acquired during this post-master’s degree open doors to the security dimension of the civilian and military space systems sectors.
An Opportunity for our Space Students
Each year, this program is aimed at a small number of students in the space sector who wish to take advantage of the opportunity to obtain a dual diploma in their 5th year.
Validation of both ESTACA engineering diplomas and EAE’s MS® DefSiS will be based on reciprocal arrangements between the two programs.
